About the Role
The Field Officers will work directly in communities across Kano State to promote immunization uptake, monitor program activities, and collect reliable data to support evidence-based decision-making in public health initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular field visits to health facilities and communities
- Support the implementation of conditional cash transfer programs for immunization
- Verify vaccination records and ensure data integrity
- Engage with caregivers and community leaders to promote vaccine acceptance
- Assist in the enrollment of eligible beneficiaries
- Collect and report real-time data using mobile devices
- Monitor adherence to program protocols by health workers
- Identify and report barriers to immunization access
- Coordinate with local health authorities and project supervisors
- Participate in training and refresher sessions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date beneficiary records
- Support verification processes for incentive disbursement
- Respond to community inquiries about the program
- Ensure confidentiality and ethical handling of participant data
- Travel frequently to assigned health facilities and villages
- Submit daily activity and field reports
