Responsibilities
- Develop and execute in-person and virtual event strategy for Japan, including trade shows, prospect roundtables, third party events, and group demos, to drive sales pipeline, revenue, and brand awareness targeting Small Business and Mid Market segments
- Own the end-to-end process for field marketing events, including content creation, speaker coordination, logistics management, and vendor relationships
- Serve as the primary marketing contact for Japan BDR, Sales and Customer Success Teams on event-related initiatives, managing event invitations, attendance coordination, and ensuring active participation in field marketing programs
- Collaborate closely with Revenue Marketing and Integrated Marketing colleagues to share local market insights and ensure effective execution of integrated campaigns
- Track and analyze performance on deals, pipeline, and MRR generated through field marketing initiatives, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements
- Native Japanese speaker with business-level English proficiency and excellent communication skills in both languages
- 3~5 years of B2B marketing experience with proven track record in hands-on event execution and field marketing, ideally within SaaS environments, with demonstrated ability to set event strategy and prioritize initiatives based on business impact
- Strong relationship-building skills with BDR and Sales Teams, with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional environments
- Exceptional project management and logistics coordination abilities for managing multiple simultaneous events with strong attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, catering coordination, and on-site event management
- Comfortable being on-site at events in Tokyo, Osaka, or other cities, managing real-time adjustments, and ensuring flawless attendee experiences
- Experience building speaker programs, recruiting executive speakers, and coordinating customer testimonials and panels
- Self-starter with proven ability to independently manage end-to-end event production including vendor relationships, venue negotiations and on-site execution in the Japanese market
- Data-oriented with ability to track event performance, pipeline attribution, and optimize programs based on measurable results

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day
- Planning and executing in-person and virtual events from venue selection and vendor negotiations to on-site coordination and post-event follow-up
- Collaborating within the Marketing Team, as well as BDR and Sales Leaders, on event strategy, target account selection, invitation lists, and team engagement
- Managing speaker recruitment, rehearsals, and customer panel coordination for high-quality program delivery
- Coordinating with vendors, venues to ensure smooth event execution and exceptional attendee experiences
- Conducting post-event debriefs with BDR and Sales Teams and analyzing attendee feedback to continuously improve event quality
