Responsibilities
- Install and manage MEPF systems as part of the NDLS redevelopment initiative.
- Ensure all system designs follow applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Work with architects, structural engineers, and other parties to integrate MEPF systems effectively.
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines to detect and resolve design conflicts early.
- Deliver technical guidance during construction to maintain high efficiency and quality in MEPF work.
- Supervise and support junior field engineers on the team.
- Assist in project planning by estimating timelines, resources, and identifying MEPF-related challenges.
- Track and manage costs associated with MEPF systems to stay within approved budgets.
- Propose cost-efficient solutions that maintain or improve system quality.
- Enforce quality assurance protocols to meet or surpass industry benchmarks.
- Perform routine site inspections to confirm compliance during construction phases.
- Identify risks related to MEPF systems and create plans to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with the broader project team to solve issues as they arise.
- Keep updated on evolving codes and regulatory requirements affecting MEPF systems.
- Verify that project designs comply with all regulations and secure required approvals.
- Oversee the creation and upkeep of detailed documentation for all MEPF systems.
- Maintain accurate and current records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Enforce safety standards and conduct safety training in line with organizational policies, particularly 3S training.
- Ensure all team members complete mandatory Business Ethics and compliance training.
- Confirm every project participant understands the company's Environment policy.
- Verify that each team member has completed the 9 lifesaving rule training.
