Responsibilities

  • Execute the installation and deployment of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for the CSMT redevelopment initiative.
  • Ensure all system designs follow applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with architects, structural engineers, and other project participants to integrate MEPF components effectively.
  • Coordinate across engineering disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes during planning stages.
  • Deliver technical guidance during construction to ensure high-quality and efficient MEPF system execution.
  • Supervise and support junior field engineers within the team.
  • Assist in project scheduling by estimating timeframes, resources, and potential obstacles tied to MEPF work.
  • Track and manage expenditures related to MEPF systems to stay within approved budgets.
  • Propose cost-efficient alternatives that maintain performance and quality standards.
  • Enforce quality control procedures to meet or surpass industry benchmarks for MEPF installations.
  • Perform routine site inspections to confirm adherence to specifications during construction.
  • Recognize risks associated with MEPF systems and formulate mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with project teams to solve unexpected issues as they arise.
  • Keep current with updates to regulations and technical codes affecting MEPF systems.
  • Ensure designs comply with all legal requirements and secure required permits and approvals.
  • Supervise the creation and upkeep of detailed documentation for all MEPF system components.
  • Maintain accurate and current records throughout all project phases.

  • Work collaboratively with the project team to address and resolve emerging challenges.
  • Stay abreast of changing regulations and codes related to MEPF systems.
  • Ensure project designs adhere to all applicable regulations and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation related to MEPF systems.
