About the Role

Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation and configuration of broadcast equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with transmission systems
- Conduct routine maintenance on RF and audio systems
- Support live broadcast operations during events and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with FCC regulations and technical standards
- Document system configurations and repair activities
- Respond to after-hours service calls as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize system performance
- Monitor signal quality and implement corrective actions
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and field tools
- Provide technical reports on system status and outages
- Assist in the design and testing of new broadcast setups
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues affecting media delivery
- Work with vendors to coordinate equipment repairs and upgrades
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during field operations
- Support remote transmitter sites with scheduled and unscheduled visits
- Upgrade firmware and software on broadcast hardware
- Calibrate audio and RF equipment to manufacturer specifications
- Assist in the rollout of new technology initiatives
- Train local staff on basic system operations and troubleshooting
