Our Vision
We're transforming Africa's financial landscape into a digital ecosystem.
In 2017, more than 50% of Sub-Saharan Africa's population lacked banking access. This stemmed from prohibitive fees, distant branches, and limited card acceptance. Individuals were compelled to store savings unsecured, small business owners relied on predatory lenders, and parents spent countless hours queuing for cash-based transactions.
We're addressing these challenges by developing seamless financial solutions: zero account fees, instant accessibility, and widespread acceptance. Even in regions with inconsistent infrastructure, Wave enables money transfers. Following our 2017 mobile app launch in Senegal for cash transactions and payments, we've expanded to millions of users across nine countries with rapid growth.
Our objective is pioneering Africa's digital financial transformation, and we need your support...
