About the Role
The engineer will work directly with clients to ensure proper installation, configuration, and operation of systems, offering on-site and remote support as needed during project lifecycles.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure hardware and software systems at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues during product implementation
- Collaborate with internal teams to relay field feedback
- Provide real-time troubleshooting for system performance issues
- Assist in the validation of system functionality before handover
- Document field activities and technical resolutions
- Support product demonstrations for client stakeholders
- Coordinate with project managers on deployment timelines
- Train client personnel on system operations and best practices
- Monitor system stability during initial operational periods
- Escalate complex technical challenges to engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Gather field data to inform product improvements
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Adapt solutions to meet site-specific requirements
- Respond to after-hours support requests as needed
- Verify network and connectivity configurations
- Assist in pre-deployment site assessments
- Support firmware and software updates in the field
- Communicate technical status updates to non-technical teams
- Follow structured problem-solving methodologies
- Work within defined project scopes and timelines
- Assist in post-deployment performance reviews
- Maintain professional conduct during client engagements
- Stay current with product updates and technical documentation
