Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within federal agencies
- Develop strategies to expand market presence in defense and intelligence sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with key government decision-makers
- Lead proposal development for federal contract bids
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs
- Present capabilities to federal stakeholders through briefings and demonstrations
- Track and report on federal market trends and competitor activity
- Manage sales pipelines specific to government contracts
- Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations
- Coordinate with legal and contracting teams on proposal submissions
- Advocate for customer requirements in product development discussions
- Negotiate contract terms with government procurement officers
- Represent the organization at federal industry events and conferences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national security priorities
- Support capture management throughout the pre-award phase
- Drive win strategies for high-value federal opportunities
- Translate technical capabilities into compelling government use cases
- Monitor contract performance and customer satisfaction post-award
- Identify partnership or teaming opportunities with other contractors
- Provide input on federal marketing and outreach materials
