Capgemini is hiring an FBS Python Developer to support the development of the core codebase underlying our automated underwriting engine. You will work within AWS environments, focusing on heavy object-oriented programming tasks in Python.
What You'll Do
- Apply advanced critical thinking and expert-level Python coding in pandas and pytest to identify, respond to defects, and fix bugs within custom in-house software.
- Implement new features using advanced Python skills within an AWS ecosystem.
- Collaborate heavily with an adjacent analytics/data-science/decision-science team that performs monitoring and Operational R&D tasks for the automated underwriting engine.
- Balance requirements from technicians and auditors to produce detailed technical documentation for custom software solutions.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Python developer in coding or software engineering.
- BS in Computer Science, IT, MLOps, Data Science, or Analytics.
- Full English Fluency.
- Object-oriented Programming (OOP) fundamentals.
- Entry-level Data Science knowledge.
- Entry-level learning model development experience.
Nice to Have
- AWS Cloud experience (PLUS).
