Capgemini is looking for an FBS Observability Engineer to join our Enterprise Observability team. This team provides observability solutions as a shared service across the company, supporting a large and complex enterprise environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage and evolve the enterprise observability platform, focusing on operational excellence and best practices.
- Provide platform stewardship, optimization, and strategic enablement.
- Work closely with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and automation engineers to enhance issue detection, drive intelligent alerting, and enable automated remediation.
- Manage our unified observability platform, collaborating with application and infrastructure teams to meet their observability needs.
- Handle instrumentation, configuration, alert creation, coaching, and ongoing improvements.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience as an Observability Engineer, Monitoring Engineer, Observability platform administrator, Dynatrace administrator, or in a similar role.
- Full English fluency.
- BS in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Experience working in a complex engineering or administration environment within a multinational organization.
- Advanced Platform Administration skills.
- Intermediate Monitoring and Observability skills.
- Advanced Communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Technical Writing skills.
- Intermediate Implementation Experience in Automation / Scripting.
- Intermediate Process Improvement skills.
- Intermediate Office Suite skills (4-6 Years).
- Intermediate Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) working knowledge (4-6 Years).
Nice to Have
- Coding capacity.
- Dynatrace - Entry Level (1-3 Years) experience desirable, or similar experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, New Relic, Solarwinds, or Datadog.
