Oklo Inc. is hiring a Facility Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily facility operations following established protocols and procedures.
  • Support routine operational tasks and coordinate maintenance activities as needed.
  • Conduct radiological protection duties such as surveys, access management, contamination checks, and documentation support.
  • Carry out assigned security responsibilities, including access monitoring and adherence to site safety standards.
  • Perform administrative tasks including recordkeeping, procedural support, work tracking, and coordination of on-site operations.
  • Operate material handling equipment like forklifts, cranes, lifts, and carts in compliance with safety training.
  • Support industrial safety initiatives, hazard mitigation, and facility cleanliness to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Assist in logistics operations including receiving, staging, storing materials, and maintaining inventory accountability.
  • Support facility improvement projects such as equipment installation, confinement systems, and HVAC setup, including oversight of external contractors.
  • Respond to unexpected or emergency situations in coordination with operations leadership.
  • Maintain all required qualifications, training, and certifications for assigned duties.

Remote employees are expected to travel to the company headquarters in Santa Clara, CA twice per quarter, depending on business needs, to attend team meetings, off-sites, and company gatherings. The first two weeks of onboarding require in-person presence at the Santa Clara location.
