Responsibilities
- Uses cross-functional collaboration to plan, design, develop, and validate foundational system-of-systems and system solutions across their lifecycle.
- Analyzes operational and customer requirements to establish system performance criteria, integrate technical specifications, and ensure alignment across physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Conducts system architecture analyses to optimize overall system-of-systems or individual system designs.
- Evaluates design trade-offs related to cost, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human factors, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, certification, and quality to support mission effectiveness.
- Assists in planning and managing requirements, risk, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness assessments throughout the project lifecycle.
