Trucordia is hiring an External Sales Contractor

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a current Florida 215 Health License and active Florida Blue appointment
  • Complete all mandatory training, certifications, and carrier onboarding
  • Sell Florida Blue products through compliant sales processes: face-to-face, phone, and electronic
  • Guide prospects through the entire sales process from lead to close
  • Manage book of business through renewals, service, and retention efforts
  • Address and resolve policy delinquencies and member account issues
  • Engage in age-in, age-out, and life event transitions with professionalism and accuracy
  • Analyze member needs and conduct product comparisons using carrier-approved tools
  • Present plan options clearly, explaining benefits and value-added services
  • Educate clients on Florida Blue’s self-service platforms and enrollment resources
  • Cross-sell eligible products (e.g., dental, vision, income protection) to maximize client value

Requirements

  • Must have a current Florida 215 Health License
  • Must be an active Florida Blue appointee
  • Must complete all mandatory training, certifications, and carrier onboarding
  • Must sell Florida Blue products through compliant sales processes (face-to-face, phone, electronic)

Work Arrangement

Additional Information

  • This is a 1099 contractor position
  • Participation in Apple’s year-round lead distribution system is optional
  • Requires a mutually agreed-upon production schedule
  • Role requires proactive outreach and full-cycle sales execution
  • Focus on ACA (Under 65) and Medicare (Over 65) segments
  • Must build a book of business under Florida Blue exclusively
