Responsibilities
- Lead technical engagements including workshops, client discussions, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive solution designs and responses for RFPs and RFIs.
- Collaborate with sales to build compelling strategies and value-based proposals.
- Create resilient mainframe architectures using core technologies such as z/OS, CICS, DB2, IMS, RACF, MQ, JCL, and COBOL.
- Establish modernization pathways involving API integration, hybrid cloud connectivity, and DevOps implementation.
- Ensure proposed solutions meet requirements for performance, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to senior executives and technical decision-makers.
- Convert intricate technical concepts into understandable business benefits and measurable return on investment.
- Deliver presentations on modernization approaches grounded in industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain awareness of advancements in mainframe evolution, hybrid infrastructure, and cloud technologies.
- Provide guidance and development support to less experienced architects and presales resources.
- Support internal knowledge sharing by contributing to documentation, tools, and reusable solution frameworks.
