This position involves working on roadway design and transportation projects, applying civil engineering principles under supervision while developing professional skills and contributing to project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct roadway geometric design and layout
  • Perform drainage analysis and design
  • Prepare construction documentation and plans
  • Support traffic operations studies
  • Apply design standards from DOT and local agencies
  • Use CAD and civil design software
  • Assist in project scoping and scheduling
  • Collaborate with survey and field teams
  • Review site conditions for design accuracy
  • Participate in design meetings with clients
  • Develop cost estimates for construction
  • Support environmental documentation
