Inkomoko is looking for an Executive Recruitment Consultant to build our Senior Leadership Team. You will lead the full-cycle recruitment for 10 senior executive roles, sourcing and placing C-suite and Vice President-level talent who align with our strategic goals and culture. This consultancy is open immediately, likely running until end of 2025, and is preferably based in East Africa.
What You'll Do
- Utilize active sourcing, talent mapping, and networks to identify high-caliber executive talent within East Africa.
- Ensure diversity and inclusion standards are integrated, with all positions filled by African nationals.
- Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, including screening, interviews, reference checks, and competency evaluations.
- Manage candidate communications to ensure a positive experience that reflects the Inkomoko brand.
- Prepare interview materials, sample questions, and prep the hiring committee for candidate engagement.
- Provide expert advice on leadership acquisition strategies and advise the C-suite on shaping the portfolio of roles.
- Negotiate contracts with chosen candidates aligned with market trends and Inkomoko’s compensation framework.
- Provide regular recruitment process updates to hiring managers and the Regional People & Culture Director.
- Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and produce reports on activity and outcomes.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive recruitment.
- Proven success placing C-suite and VP-level roles.
- Deep understanding of the social enterprise business environment, industry sectors, and leadership talent landscape.
- Strong network within an African executive community.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with modern recruitment tools and platforms.

- Experience ideally within East Africa.
