GQS GmbH is looking for a Europe Trader Sales Manager Ingredients to drive the distribution and trading of additives for the food, home, and personal care sectors across Europe. You will be based in Hamburg and play a key role in expanding our market presence through strategic relationship building.
What You'll Do
- Manage national and Europe-wide sales and trading for food additives and home and personal care product ingredients.
- Intensively develop and expand long-term customer relationships.
- Establish and expand international supplier relationships.
- Conduct market analyses and competitive intelligence to inform strategic planning.
- Develop marketing strategies and product variations in cooperation with customers and manufacturers.
What We're Looking For
- A completed training as a merchant in foreign trade, a further qualification as a foreign trade specialist / BiA, or a relevant degree.
- Several years of experience as a trader, preferably within the food or additives sector.
- Business fluency in German and English.
- High sales affinity, strong communication skills, and a focus on sustainability and customer orientation.
- A structured, efficient, and independent way of working.
- Team player mentality with social competence, high flexibility, and self-motivation.
- Confidence in using the MS Office package as well as merchandise management systems.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Spanish.
- SAP knowledge.
