Responsibilities
- Design and manage the complete EU supply chain infrastructure, including establishing labeling processes within the European warehouse.
- Ensure the foundational logistics setup supports future growth while maintaining cost efficiency and operational strength.
- Position logistics as a driver of business expansion rather than a limiting factor.
- Take full accountability for regional logistics performance metrics, including costs, service quality, and delivery speed.
- Balance trade-offs between transportation, warehousing, and inventory levels to optimize overall performance.
- Implement systems to monitor and control key performance drivers across the supply chain.
- Serve as the primary logistics advisor to the regional COO, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Convert global logistics strategies into actionable regional execution plans.
- Deliver structured insights to central teams on market-specific challenges, performance shortfalls, and improvement possibilities.
- Challenge and adapt global assumptions based on local EU market conditions and operational realities.
- Lead coordination efforts to meet all EU regulatory standards in logistics operations.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, marketing, and external partners on labeling, documentation, and regional requirements.
- Turn regulatory requirements into practical operational procedures across warehouses, third-party providers, and distribution channels.
- Detect potential risks and interdependencies, then lead cross-functional resolution efforts.
- Represent logistics within the regional leadership team to ensure strategic integration.
- Manage a high-performing, lean logistics team comprising roles in warehouse management, transportation, and inventory planning.
- Guide team members in executing carrier and third-party logistics strategies while aligning with global frameworks.
- Pursue continuous improvements in cost and efficiency from the early stages of operation.
- Refine network structure, including warehouse locations, transportation routes, and inventory positioning.
- Lead regional logistics initiatives such as process upgrades and technology enhancements.
