Responsibilities
- Engage in safety initiatives and training to support the company's Guardian Angel culture
- Check equipment for signs of deterioration
- Carry out routine upkeep on heavy mobile machinery
- Collaborate within a team setting
- Keep work areas tidy
- Position trucks for loading or unloading
- Wear personal protective equipment correctly
- Alert supervisors about required repairs
- Confirm materials are loaded in compliance with safety standards
- Support plant maintenance and repair tasks
- Complete duties with little oversight
Work Arrangement
On-site — Savannah, MO
Other
- Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-6pm
- Full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
- General physical activities include climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching with hands and arms, and handling materials
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Effective verbal communication
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
