iHerb is hiring an Equipment Operator-1B

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all established maintenance and safety protocols
• Model safe behavior to contribute to a secure workplace
• Recognize and report potential safety issues
• Handle trailer loading and unloading, scan items, assemble pallets, and apply labels
• Restock and organize inventory as required
• Input data into systems using manual, computer, or RF methods
• Conduct product counts and perform cycle reconciliations
• Verify product accuracy and correct placement within assigned zones
• Route goods to the appropriate warehouse locations
• Transport materials safely using powered equipment such as forklifts and pallet riders
• Operate machinery according to provided instructions
• Remove debris like loose wood and plastic from workspaces
• Clean assigned areas by sweeping when necessary
• Notify supervisors of damaged equipment, rack issues, or other hazards
• Understand that listed duties may not be exhaustive and additional tasks may be assigned

Other

• Ability to work extended hours as required
• Warehouse environment, may be required to wear safety equipment
• Company uniforms, closed-toed shoes, casual work environment
• Hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions
• The noise in the work environment is usually moderate.
