Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical point of contact for clients on designated and ad-hoc projects, delivering expert guidance for commercial, industrial, and Military/Aerospace testing requirements.
- Handle incoming quotation requests from the National Sales Team, generating precise proposals or assigning tasks as appropriate for a broad range of environmental simulation services.
- Design, evaluate, and implement test plans and protocols in alignment with applicable standards such as ASTM, MIL-STD-810, and RTCA/DO-160, as well as client-specific and internal requirements.
- Guide and supervise lab engineers and technicians, fostering best practices in environmental testing across various product categories.
- Execute testing procedures according to defined standards, ensuring reliable data recording and traceability for certification and performance assessment.
- Manage calibration, upkeep, and operational checks of testing equipment across all projects to maintain compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and similar accreditation criteria.
- Conduct quality assurance activities within the lab, including internal audits and initiatives for process optimization.
- Communicate regularly with engineering teams, senior leadership, and cross-functional departments to provide timely project updates and technical insights.
- Organize and deliver training programs for technicians and engineers on environmental simulation techniques and evolving industry standards.
- Lead research and capability evaluations to identify and introduce new testing services, particularly in high-demand areas such as Defense, Military, and Aerospace.
- Create realistic project timelines and ensure prompt, professional client communication to support on-time project completion.
- Work with other Eurofins E&E team members to provide comprehensive, integrated testing solutions.
- Ensure laboratory facilities are maintained in a clean, organized, safe, and compliant manner per company and regulatory guidelines.
- Follow company policies, customer service expectations, and support internal and external audits and accreditation processes.
