About the Role
This position involves supporting organizations in meeting environmental, health, and safety regulations through audits, training, and strategic guidance. The consultant works directly with clients to identify risks, ensure compliance, and improve workplace safety performance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site safety and compliance audits for client organizations
- Identify regulatory risks related to environmental, health, and safety standards
- Develop corrective action plans to address compliance gaps
- Deliver training sessions on OSHA standards and safety best practices
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for clients and stakeholders
- Support clients in implementing safety management systems
- Review safety documentation and recommend improvements
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills
- Monitor changes in federal, state, and local regulations
- Advise on hazardous materials handling and storage requirements
- Evaluate workplace conditions for potential health hazards
- Promote injury prevention strategies across industries
- Collaborate with clients to reduce workers' compensation claims
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EHS regulatory frameworks
- Provide guidance during regulatory inspections and audits
- Support sustainability initiatives related to environmental compliance
- Track compliance deadlines and regulatory submission requirements

- Respond to client inquiries regarding safety policies

- Travel to client sites as needed for assessments
