About the Role

This role is designed for someone who thrives in complex, first-of-their-kind enterprise sales environments. As the first New Zealand-based Enterprise Sales Executive, you will identify and close strategic deals with large organizations, helping define new demand engines through AI-powered infrastructure. You'll collaborate closely with product and solutions teams, design pilots, lead negotiations, and transition proven motions to regional teams once repeatable. The ideal candidate enjoys building from scratch, not scaling existing playbooks.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire initial enterprise clients that establish long-term market presence
  • Lead sales initiatives with insurers, original equipment manufacturers, fleet operators, multi-shop operators, dealer groups, and strategic alliances
  • Prioritize customers that generate consistent, sustainable job volume over one-time revenue
  • Negotiate and close pioneering, first-time agreements
  • Manage end-to-end commercial discussions for complex enterprise contracts
  • Co-develop pilot programs, strategic partnerships, and phased rollouts with Product and Solutions teams
  • Balance immediate customer requirements with long-term platform scalability
  • Develop new demand-generation strategies from the ground up
  • Identify and unlock new market segments and use cases in New Zealand and internationally
  • Convert enterprise insights into actionable feedback for go-to-market, pricing, and product development
  • Define what repeatable success looks like for each new sales motion
  • Engage in deep cross-functional collaboration across teams
  • Work with Marketing to shape enterprise messaging and brand narrative
  • Coordinate with Expansion, Operations, and Network teams to ensure organizational readiness
  • Ensure smooth transitions of accounts to Chief Revenue Officer and Regional General Managers
  • Exit customer engagements intentionally and strategically
  • Transfer matured sales processes to regional teams for ongoing management
  • Remain focused on pioneering the next wave of enterprise opportunities

This role

This is a foundational enterprise sales position, not a scaling role. As the first New Zealand-based Enterprise Sales Executive, you will create new demand channels by securing strategic customers that drive substantial job volume through the company's AI-powered parts infrastructure. Each deal is unique and influences product development, go-to-market strategy, and future roadmaps. Your responsibility is to create, validate, and then hand off repeatable models to regional teams. This role suits those passionate about shaping new markets and working in close partnership with product teams.
