Responsibilities
- Partner with product, design, frontend, and QA teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Make strategic technical decisions that align team output with company-wide standards and tooling practices.
- Leverage AI coding assistants such as Claude to speed up development by generating code, boilerplate, and scaffolding—while rigorously reviewing all outputs before deployment.
- Design, develop, and release AI-driven products, automated workflows, and intelligent agents.
- Contribute technical expertise across the full software development lifecycle—from concept through deployment—including architecture, design review, and release planning.
- Work collaboratively to build reliable features, APIs, data models, and infrastructure; proactively identify and resolve issues under tight timelines without compromising quality.
- Own features from conception to production: including design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
- Uphold excellence in engineering through thorough testing, code quality, and a strong focus on customer needs.
- Maintain consistent communication with cross-functional partners, clarify technical limitations for non-technical stakeholders, and convert business needs into technical solutions.
- Support team velocity by resolving blockers quickly, troubleshooting problems, and proposing clear paths forward on ambiguous challenges.

Hiring Process
The hiring process emphasizes interviews and role-specific assessments. In select cases, relevant background information may be reviewed in compliance with privacy standards. The process uses Automated Employment Decision Tools (AEDT) and AI systems to evaluate candidates based on experience, skills, and qualifications. AI-powered identity verification, including deepfake and fraud detection, is applied during remote interviews. All final hiring decisions include human oversight. Candidate data is not used to train AI models. Compliance is maintained with data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. For NYC residents, a bias audit of AEDT is available per Local Law 144.
