Responsibilities
- Lead engineering initiatives in India with a focus on measurable results rather than activity-based metrics.
- Advance key technical areas including performance benchmarking, system upgrades, and platform integrations.
- Collaborate with teams in Europe and the United States to achieve shared objectives across multiple time zones.
- Maintain and improve engineering standards, development practices, and technical culture within India-based teams.
- Help define the structure and growth trajectory of the India engineering organization in coordination with senior leadership.
- Own the development of local engineering culture, including hiring standards, onboarding processes, employee retention, and community involvement.
- Strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer in India through active participation in tech events and industry forums.
- Engage directly with enterprise clients in India and neighboring regions on technical topics, sales support, and issue resolution.
- Work closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Success to align engineering efforts with customer requirements.
- Take ownership of business impact, not just delivery timelines, by linking engineering work to commercial success.
- Develop a close partnership with the Warsaw engineering team, the primary day-to-day collaborator, while maintaining strong connections with U.S. leadership.
- Ensure India-based teams are fully integrated into the global organization and treated as a central component of product development.
- Proactively communicate organizational challenges, opportunities, and team health to executive leadership.
