Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily standup meetings to ensure team alignment and progress tracking
- Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with team members to support growth and address concerns
- Guide team members in setting objectives and advancing their professional development
- Manage recruitment efforts and integrate new hires effectively into the team
- Offer technical direction and mentorship to support engineering excellence
- Monitor key performance indicators for engineering and take action based on insights
- Engage in code reviews and approve pull requests to maintain code quality
- Lead technical discussions and exploratory sessions to shape solution design
- Oversee system stability and lead incident response when necessary
- Plan and deliver sprint goals and roadmap milestones with clear timelines and resource coordination
- Improve CI/CD workflows and DevOps practices for faster, reliable deployments
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and quality assurance teams
- Ensure high release quality by promoting thorough regression testing and test automation in partnership with QA
- Uphold structured incident management procedures
- Communicate project status, risks, and operational changes to relevant stakeholders
- Contribute to strategic planning for engineering processes, SDLC, and QA practices
- Perform performance evaluations and support individual career progression
- Maintain consistent and transparent communication with internal stakeholders
