Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams to improve performance and cohesion
- Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to define priorities
- Drive engineering best practices including code quality and system reliability
- Support career development and performance reviews for engineers
- Help shape technical architecture and long-term engineering vision
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
- Ensure delivery timelines are met with high engineering standards
- Facilitate cross-team coordination and remove organizational blockers
- Champion engineering processes that balance speed and sustainability
- Onboard and integrate new engineering team members effectively
- Work closely with CTO and senior leadership on strategic initiatives
- Identify and implement tools and workflows to improve productivity
- Encourage innovation while maintaining system stability
- Monitor team health and address issues proactively
- Represent engineering in company-wide planning and decision-making
