Responsibilities
- Build and define the foundational architecture for the Marketplace platform from the ground up
- Develop backend systems using Go and SQL as primary technologies
- Oversee the creation, deployment, and lifecycle management of artifacts such as operating system and container images
- Design and sustain reliable APIs that support core Marketplace functionality
- Design scalable, distributed systems with a focus on microservices architecture
- Work closely with Core Engineering and Product teams to align technical and business goals
- Contribute to shaping technical requirements and long-term product strategy
- Maintain high standards of code quality through comprehensive testing and documentation practices
- Recruit, guide, and manage engineers who will form the future of the Marketplace team
- Split time effectively between direct coding and strategic engineering leadership
