Responsibilities
- Guide the vision, planning, and implementation of advanced AI-powered detection and response capabilities within the security platform.
- Champion the creation of accurate and actionable threat detections, ensuring broad organizational accountability and improved signal reliability.
- Recruit, develop, and support a team of engineers solving complex challenges in large-scale threat identification.
- Work closely with adjacent teams in threat detection and security to ensure seamless integration of deliverables across systems.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators, including detection reach, signal accuracy, model integrity, testing success rates, incident preparedness, and impact on security operations.
- Promote the team’s objectives and progress across internal leadership and collaborating groups, clearly articulating strategic decisions and outcomes.
- Coordinate with AI engineering and related initiatives to leverage common platforms when appropriate and build dedicated security tooling when necessary.
