Notion is hiring an Engineering Manager, Content Onboarding

Responsibilities

  • Define the technical and product direction for Notion's import systems, enabling customers to pull content from more sources and convert it into a trustworthy system of record.
  • Within 90 days, clarify the short-term roadmap and reduce risk around key technical decisions for imports, exports, and internal admin tools.
  • Integrate AI-era and agentic workflow patterns into onboarding and import experiences, leveraging AI to enhance product judgment, prototyping, and engineering quality from design to production.
  • By the end of the first year, establish engineering excellence as a team norm, including reliable systems, clear operational standards, and a shared understanding of maintaining critical workflows.
  • Maintain a consistent operating rhythm with headquarters while owning a clear north star for the Content Onboarding surface area.
