Responsibilities
- Oversee Exchange Online operations, including mailbox management, distribution groups, transport rules, and messaging policies.
- Deploy and maintain email security features using Defender for Office 365 and Exchange Online Protection.
- Detect, analyze, and resolve complex issues affecting Exchange Online and end-to-end email delivery.
- Ensure high performance and uptime of Exchange Online services through proactive monitoring and tuning.
- Perform routine system reviews to verify adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards.
- Manage cloud-based identity and access controls, including hybrid identity setups, multi-factor authentication, device registration, and single sign-on.
- Enforce identity governance through conditional access, compliance policies, privileged identity management, role-based access control, and risk-based sign-in policies.
- Demonstrate understanding of identity integration protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth, JSON, SPML, SCIM, and XACML.
- Partner with security teams to safeguard identity infrastructure and related technologies.
- Diagnose and fix problems related to user identities, access, and authentication.
- Work with multiple teams to integrate email and identity systems with broader IT platforms.
- Deliver advanced technical support and conduct training for users and IT personnel.
- Stay current with advancements and emerging practices in email and identity technologies.
- Lead and contribute to projects involving email and identity lifecycle management.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, procedures, and system changes.
