Bellese is hiring an Engineer II

The Engineer II drives quality assurance and test automation for healthcare technology solutions. This includes designing and maintaining scalable test frameworks, executing automated and manual tests across APIs, functionality, performance, and accessibility, and working closely with developers and product teams in an Agile environment to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

  • Make significant contributions to the success of one or more projects or products by supporting positive outcomes.
  • Show expertise in key technologies aligned with team objectives.
  • Accurately assess scope, estimate effort, design solutions, and deliver medium to large features while reducing technical debt.
  • Proactively collaborate with team members to build a constructive and productive work environment.
  • Follow established team processes to ensure consistent and reliable delivery of features to production.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain scalable and resilient test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Develop, run, and analyze test cases focused on high-risk areas, and report relevant testing metrics.
  • Implement automated testing across multiple systems and features to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Independently create and execute performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508-compliant test scripts using appropriate tools, including test scenario development.
  • Work closely with software developers to detect, diagnose, and resolve software defects.
  • Help define and execute integration and system-level testing strategies.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to establish, prioritize, and communicate QA and testing requirements.
  • Actively engage in Agile rituals such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support team communication and alignment.
  • Support the development of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Take part in code reviews and verify solutions comply with predefined architectural standards.
  • Assist in estimating, prioritizing, and planning development tasks to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
  • Maintain clear documentation for test case functionality and automation scripts.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen or hold a Green Card. No exceptions will be made.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical or scientific field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of direct testing experience covering performance, functional, behavioral, API, and 508 compliance testing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in test automation on the Salesforce Platform, with preference for Copado Robotic Testing.
  • Minimum of 3 years testing data-centric applications and systems.
  • Experience generating test data for healthcare domains including provider, patient/beneficiary, quality measures, and claims data.
  • Proven experience testing APIs.
  • Experience conducting User Acceptance Testing, gathering user feedback, and providing user support with workarounds.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience working on large-scale integrated systems and delivering complex projects involving large datasets from inception to completion.

Nice to Have

  • Solid background in software development within an Agile environment.
  • Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) or Medicaid CHIP data.
