Responsibilities
- Design and develop descriptive and predictive data applications that create measurable business impact
- Support strategic business decisions through exploratory analysis and deep understanding of operations
- Combine data from various internal and external systems into unified data products for business use
- Document system architectures and technical designs for data and AI solutions
- Manage source code for data products using GitHub repositories
- Detect and act on data quality issues to enhance accuracy and performance of analytics systems
- Collaborate on automating manual processes to increase efficiency
- Apply data modeling and visualization best practices when building data structures
- Proactively find ways to improve data quality for better product outcomes
- Develop trusted, reliable data products that serve as authoritative sources across the organization
- Enhance existing data pipelines and expand self-service capabilities for business users and analysts
- Follow and contribute to enterprise data governance by documenting data assets and workflows
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with organizational values and support team and customer needs
- Ensure all work adheres to regulatory, policy, and procedural standards
- Lead analytical discussions with senior leadership to uncover actionable insights
- Perform additional tasks as needed
Responsibilities
- Research, design, build, test, and track new descriptive and predictive applications for Data & AI that deliver impact to the organization
- Assist in forming business strategy through exploratory data analysis and business understanding
- Integrate data from disparate sources (internal and external) into data products that are consumed by business stakeholders
- Create and maintain architecture and systems documentation for analytical products developed by Data & AI
- Create and maintain data product source code in a source control repository (GitHub)
- Identify opportunities for improvement in data quality, which leads to performance and accuracy improvements in Data & AI data products
- Consult on and execute opportunities for process automation
- Implement data structures using best practices for data modeling and visualization
- Identify opportunities for improvements to data quality to optimize data product performance
- Establish Data & AI Data best practices and build data products that provide single-source-of-truth foundational accuracy
- Continually improve ongoing data pipelines and simplify self-service support for business stakeholders and Business Analysts
- Participate in Data and Analytics Governance best practices by documenting data structures, pipelines, and outputs across the entire organization
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Drive discussion with senior leaders to generate insights
- Complete other duties as assigned
