Qorvo is looking for an Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design and integrate software and hardware to achieve automated DC and RF test solutions in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for test efficiency improvements and participating in cross-functional engineering projects.
What You'll Do
- Design and integrate software and hardware to achieve automated DC and RF test solutions in a high-volume environment.
- Design and develop applications on various test platforms.
- Drive test efficiency improvements, including multi-site expansion, tester platform migrations, and other solution optimizations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support engineering test projects, design verification testing, customer returns, and qualification testing.
- Generate and maintain documentation for test systems, software designs, and the development process.
- Create test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Support design verification testing.
- Conduct test program buyoff activities in laboratory and manufacturing sites.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronic Engineering.
- 5 or more years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing and test product development.
- Software development and debug experience.
- Experience with ATE platforms including Teradyne and Cohu.
- Familiarity with C/C++ and Visual Basic VBA.
- Experience with test equipment such as RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters.
- Knowledge of RF test concepts including s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, TOI, and harmonics.
- Experience with schematic design and PCB layout.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Skills in statistical engineering data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
- Strong ownership, self-motivation, and an engineering-focused attitude.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
