Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle employment relations cases covering misconduct, grievances, performance issues, and dismissals
- Direct and supervise workplace investigations with attention to procedural fairness, legal compliance, and alignment with organizational goals
- Deliver specialized guidance on industrial relations, employment legislation, awards, and internal policies
- Assist in preparing for Fair Work matters in coordination with external legal and workplace relations advisors
- Develop the employment relations skills of HR and management teams through coaching and support
- Help design and enhance employment relations frameworks, policies, governance processes, and improvement initiatives
- Evaluate employment relations data and emerging trends to propose proactive risk mitigation strategies
- Act as a liaison between external service providers and internal teams, working closely with safety and workers compensation specialists
- Track workplace safety incidents and manage appropriate responses, including investigations when necessary
