About the Role
You will manage core employee lifecycle operations in your region, including onboarding, offboarding, role changes, and leave administration, ensuring processes are executed with precision and care. You will refine existing systems, identify gaps, and improve the employee experience by making lifecycle events reliable, clear, and human-centered. Reporting into People Ops, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and regional partners to maintain compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding for your region from start to finish.
- Accurately process employment changes such as role adjustments, promotions, transfers, and leaves within required timelines.
- Keep employee records accurate and up to date while adhering to local labor laws and regulations.
- Identify inefficiencies in current processes using data to show failure points, frequency, and associated costs.
- Anticipate upcoming employee lifecycle events and take action in advance rather than responding reactively.
- Complete onboarding and gain proficiency in internal systems like Rippling and regional lifecycle procedures.
- Observe or evaluate recent onboarding and offboarding workflows to assess execution quality.
- Establish strong working relationships with Employee Experience, Workplace, and Finance teams in your region.
- Detect discrepancies between official procedures and actual practices in your geographic area.
- Ensure lifecycle operations function consistently so managers and employees trust the process.
- Resolve at least one significant process gap and provide evidence of improvement before and after intervention.
- Develop and maintain connections with local vendors, legal advisors, and compliance resources.

First 30 Days
Complete onboarding and learn internal lifecycle systems, tools like Rippling, and regional requirements. Review recent onboarding and offboarding cycles to assess quality. Build relationships with regional partners in Employee Experience, Workplace, and Finance. Identify gaps between documented processes and real-world execution.
By 60 Days
Take full ownership of onboarding and offboarding processes in your region with no missed steps or handoff issues. Process employment changes accurately and on time. Maintain compliant, up-to-date employee records. Identify and report on process breakdowns using measurable data.
By 90 Days
Ensure lifecycle processes in your region operate smoothly and are trusted by managers and employees. Successfully close at least one major process gap with documented improvements. Maintain active relationships with regional vendors, legal contacts, and compliance partners. Proactively manage upcoming employee transitions.
