About the Role

Scalian is looking for an Embedded Software Developer to join our team and participate in the development and evolution of critical embedded software for aeronautical systems. You will design, develop, and maintain C++ applications in a real-time or embedded environment, ensuring quality, reliability, and compliance with aeronautical standards.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain C++ applications in a real-time or embedded environment.
  • Participate in needs analysis, specification writing, and software design.
  • Contribute to the establishment of unit and integration tests.
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of code with aeronautical standards (DO-178C).
  • Collaborate with systems, validation, and integration teams to guarantee the technical consistency of the product.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree from an engineering school or equivalent (Bac+5) in computer science, embedded systems, or software engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in C / C++ development, ideally in an embedded or real-time environment.
  • Good knowledge of object-oriented concepts, multi-threaded programming, and versioning tools (Git).
  • Rigor, teamwork, and technical curiosity are essential for success in this role.

Nice to Have

  • Skills in Python, CMake, or embedded Linux environments would be a plus.

This role requires an expert who has successfully managed complex ToW projects, supplier transitions, manufacturing ramp-up/down, and cross-site industrial transfers.The ideal candidate will be a hands-on ToW professional with a deep understanding of supply chain operations, risk management, industrialisation, and supplier performance governance.
