Honeywell is hiring an Embedded Engineer I to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of embedded firmware, including design, implementation, bug-fixing, documentation, and validation, with a focus on control algorithms and communication protocols.
What You'll Do
- Develop embedded firmware from design through validation.
- Design, implement, debug, document, and validate firmware components.
- Work with sensor inputs and integrate them into control algorithms.
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ programming.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience with Modbus and other communication protocols.
- Solid background in embedded firmware design and driver development.
- Strong experience with microcontrollers.
- Practical knowledge using development tools like IAR and KEIL.
- Good experience with Control Algorithms and their implementation.
- Sound knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Ability to understand schematics from a firmware perspective.
- Good knowledge of serial communication protocols such as MODBUS, I2C, SPI, RS485, USB, CAN, and Ethernet.
