Eni Group is seeking an Electronic Engineer to join Eniquantic. In collaboration with a team of physicists and software engineers, you will contribute to building a neutral-atom quantum computer. Your focus will be on developing electronic boards for the generation, acquisition, and processing of analog and digital signals for the quantum computer's control electronics.
What You'll Do
- Develop and design electronic boards for generating, acquiring, processing, and timing analog and digital signals, potentially in collaboration with external partners.
- Coordinate and/or collaborate on internal and/or external projects for developing electronic modules.
- Collaborate with quantum engineering and software engineering teams during the definition and development of electronic modules and their integration into the control system.
What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Physics.
- At least 5 years of experience, including any PhD work, in designing and building electronic systems for high-tech applications such as optical sensors and acquisition systems.
- Excellent knowledge and experience using ECAD software and electronic circuit simulation tools.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in designing and developing analog electronic boards, for example for fast processing of low-phase-noise RF signals.
- Experience in developing and programming firmware for FPGA-based electronic modules for digital and analog input-output signal acquisition, generation, and processing.
- Ability to operate in multidisciplinary teams with autonomy and proactivity.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Willingness to travel.
