Responsibilities
- Carry out advanced maintenance tasks involving welding, soldering, brazing, plumbing, hydraulics, and general construction.
- Observe and evaluate production zones to verify equipment and machinery are operating correctly.
- Execute assigned maintenance work orders efficiently and accurately.
- Follow safety protocols such as Lock-Out Tag-Out, fall protection, scissor lift operation, and powered industrial truck procedures.
- Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic systems and components.
- Foster a culture of safety throughout all maintenance activities.
- Accurately complete all necessary maintenance documentation and forms.
- Demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Focus on achieving goals and identifying root causes of equipment issues.
- Guide and influence team members to meet individual and facility-wide performance targets.
- Carry out designated tasks and supervise mechanical maintenance work on machinery.
- Perform basic mathematical computations relevant to maintenance duties.
- Show mechanical aptitude and understanding of technical job requirements.
- Industrial construction background is a plus.
- Commit to working more than 40 hours per week as required.
- Possess strong familiarity with techniques, materials, tools, and methods used in building, mechanical, and electrical trades.
- Have prior experience in mechanical or related maintenance fields.
- Understand workplace hazards and apply appropriate safety measures.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisors.
