Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, upkeep, and issue resolution for medium and high voltage electrical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, utility feeds, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, ATS/STS units, RPPs, and busway distribution networks.
- Create, assess, and carry out methods of procedure, emergency operating procedures, and administrative operating procedures for scheduled and unplanned electrical maintenance; oversee third-party vendors and contractors performing on-site work.
- Supervise electrical performance through EPMS and BMS platforms, respond to system alarms, track capacity, and ensure accurate as-built records and one-line diagrams are updated after system changes.
- Evaluate designs and submissions for new data center builds and lead engineering efforts for existing facility enhancements focused on increasing capacity, reliability, and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose electrical failures and malfunctions, lead root cause investigations, conduct engineering audits, and prepare risk assessments with corrective action plans.
- Serve as on-site engineering lead during construction and commissioning phases, collaborating with design, hardware, and environmental health and safety teams, while delivering procedural feedback, training, and incident support across regions.
