KOSTAL Group is looking for an Electrical Engineer – Design Engineer to join our team developing electronic products for the automotive industry. You will be responsible for the full design cycle, from concept to finished solution, working within a dynamic international environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop product schematics from concept to finished solution, adhering to company design rules, customer requirements, and internal standards.
- Perform technical calculations during design, analyze solution effectiveness, and assess risks in new product development.
- Plan, prepare, and conduct test programs according to customer and company specifications.
- Prepare complete and accurate design/engineering documentation and ensure its timely release and transfer to related departments.
What We're Looking For
- Higher technical education in electronics or a related field.
- Experience in design for high-volume production.
- Understanding of standards and requirements for automotive electronic development.
- Knowledge of ESD and EMC requirements.
- Skills in calculating analog and digital electronic circuits.
- Experience in analysis, troubleshooting, and fault elimination.
- Experience working with microcontrollers and their peripheral circuits.
- Experience preparing design documentation.
- Knowledge and practical experience with LIN / CAN communications.
- English language proficiency at an Intermediate level or higher.
Nice to Have
- Experience in PCB layout, preferably with Mentor Graphics.
- Experience in component selection, preferably for automotive applications.
