Responsibilities
- Construct and integrate electronic systems using schematics, layout files, and engineering specifications.
- Carry out through-hole and surface-mount soldering, including fine-pitch components, rework, and repair.
- Produce wire harnesses and cable assemblies with proper crimping, routing, termination, labeling, and continuity checks.
- Assist in PCB power-up, hardware integration, system-level testing, and design validation cycles.
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults at component, circuit board, and system levels using lab instruments.
- Perform testing and inspection using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and continuity testers.
- Work closely with engineering teams to enhance manufacturability, assembly speed, and hardware durability.
- Operate and service additive manufacturing systems, including 3D printers for jigs, enclosures, and prototypes.
- Develop and maintain test jigs, breakout boards, and validation environments for development and production.
- Support scaling from prototype builds to consistent low-volume production runs.
- Keep detailed records of builds, test results, version control, and assembly instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly and integration tasks using standard workshop tools and equipment.
- Adhere to ESD protocols, laboratory safety guidelines, and proper handling of sensitive components.
