KLA is hiring an Electrical Design Engineer

About the Role

The role involves designing embedded systems with a focus on firmware, hardware integration, and system architecture across sensing and communication platforms, while taking full ownership from concept through deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and troubleshoot Linux-based firmware for embedded devices such as sensors and cameras.
  • Gain expertise across multiple technical domains including power electronics, signal processing, and cross-platform communication to enhance product features.
  • Create system architectures considering hardware interfaces, sensing elements, communication protocols, and software-hardware integration.
  • Lead projects from initial concept and simulation through development, integration, and field deployment with full lifecycle accountability.
  • Perform hardware bring-up tasks using device datasheets to configure and validate new components.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $141,300.00 - $240,200.00 Annually
