Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical liaison for ODM partners integrating PCIe accelerator cards, M.2 modules, and AI single-board computers into their designs.
- Advise on hardware integration aspects including compatibility, power requirements, thermal management, mechanical fit, and firmware configuration.
- Assist partners during system initialization with OS and driver setup, SDK deployment, and initial inference testing on customer hardware.
- Develop and update integration documentation, technical guides, and troubleshooting resources for major ODM customers.
- Offer on-site or remote assistance to contract manufacturers during mass production launch, including first-article checks and pilot run evaluations.
- Evaluate and verify production test protocols against internal test standards, reporting discrepancies to engineering teams.
- Lead diagnosis of field-reported hardware defects: gather failure data, reproduce issues in lab, and collaborate with R&D on root cause analysis.
- Manage a defect tracking system and oversee resolution actions, including corrective and preventive measures, to ensure closure.
- Engage with suppliers of power components such as DCDC converters, power management units, DDR memory, and passives to resolve qualification or field issues.
- Conduct lab-based analysis of power integrity problems, including efficiency, voltage regulation, and transient response, and report findings internally.
- Evaluate alternative components during BOM changes, providing electrical equivalence data to support sourcing decisions.
- Support qualification of new electronic components—including power ICs, passives, memory, and connectors—for use in internal hardware, leveraging regional supply chain access.
- Assess proposed drop-in or functional replacement parts during BOM reviews or end-of-life transitions, delivering electrical test data and board-level validation results.
- Support validation of new PCB designs or product versions through system bring-up, functional checks, and performance regression analysis.
- Act as the local technical contact for design partners or electronics manufacturing services during prototype phases, gathering feedback and coordinating issue fixes.
- Record component qualifications, test outcomes, and design deviation analyses in the company's product lifecycle management system.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid — Taiwan
Other
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required to communicate directly with ODMs and contract manufacturers in the Taiwan supply chain.
- Ability to work hybrid or on-site in Taiwan is essential.
