An Early Years Teacher is needed at Bright Horizons Wimbledon Day Nursery and Preschool to plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences and care that support children's individual development. The role involves creating stimulating indoor and outdoor environments aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care for children
- Help children develop and meet their individual needs
- Make accurate and effective assessments reflecting each child's needs, interests, and developmental stages
- Ensure indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring
What We're Looking For
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with colleagues and parents
- Must undergo safer recruitment practices including an enhanced DBS check
