At Platinumlist, we are looking for a E-Payments Specialist to join our team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our online payment processes, managing payment gateway performance, and resolving payment-related issues, including refunds. Your work will directly enhance transaction success rates, improve payment system functionality, and ensure seamless financial transactions for our users across the GCC region.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and optimize the performance of integrated payment gateways like Amazon Payment Services and Checkout.com.
- Troubleshoot payment acceptance issues and collaborate with payment providers to resolve operational challenges.
- Act as the primary liaison with payment service providers for operational issues.
- Monitor daily transaction success rates and analyze declined payments.
- Investigate payment failures, identify trends, and escalate risks to the Finance Manager.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations for all payment processes.
- Manage and monitor refund processing for canceled events and payment disputes.
- Investigate and resolve refund failures, verifying eligibility and compliance before processing.
- Collaborate with the Customer Finance Coordinator to address refund-related customer inquiries.
- Ensure all refunds are processed within established company timelines.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on payment performance and transaction issues.
- Provide actionable insights to improve payment processes and transaction success.
- Communicate payment-related updates to internal teams, including Customer Finance Coordinator and fraud prevention.
- Address escalated customer concerns regarding payments, refunds, and transaction errors.
- Work closely with fraud prevention teams to investigate flagged transactions and mitigate fraud risks.
- Participate in testing and optimizing new payment gateway features and system updates.
- Recommend improvements to payment workflows based on transaction patterns and industry best practices.
- Work with internal teams to implement improvements that enhance transaction success rates.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in e-payment processing, payment gateway management, or transaction monitoring.
- Proficiency with payment gateway platforms like Amazon Payment Services, Checkout.com, and Stripe.
- Familiarity with online payment methods, including cards, wallets, and bank transfers.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret payment data and identify issues.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tracking and resolving payment-related issues.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external service providers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve transaction challenges.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Minimum B2 level proficiency in English.
- Strong understanding of payment systems and refund workflows in e-commerce or ticketing environments.
- High integrity and professionalism due to access to sensitive financial data.

- Experience in e-commerce, ticketing, or related industries.
- Experience handling financial transactions, refunds, and customer payment issues in a high-volume environment.
- C1 or C2 English level proficiency.
