Responsibilities
- Attend regular coordination meetings with internal departments, clients, and vendor partners.
- Support prefabrication planning by ensuring system designs are optimized for construction and field installation.
- Design electrical control panel hardware layouts, including component selection, environmental specifications, heat management analysis, and material lists.
- Develop electrical circuit designs for control panels covering both AC and DC power systems, including load calculations and proper circuit sizing.
- Specify and oversee Input/Output (I/O) requirements for control system applications.
- Produce and manage I/O documentation across all project stages.
- Prepare technical datasheets for equipment and maintain accurate records throughout project execution.
- Establish and update register mappings between field devices and programmable logic controllers.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise floor plans showing equipment placement.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise system architecture schematics.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise control panel layout drawings.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise detailed wiring schematics.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise system diagrams that include point lists.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise operational sequence documentation.
- Utilize AutoCAD Electrical to produce and revise installation details for field deployment.
- Design communication network infrastructure, including selection of network hardware and cabling requirements.
