Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and upkeep of gallery and office spaces to maintain high standards of functionality and readiness.
- Lead and guide a Facilities Assistant, promoting clear communication, responsibility, and teamwork.
- Act as the primary contact for all facilities matters, coordinating effectively with internal teams and outside service providers.
- Oversee vendor relationships for services such as climate control, cleaning, and landscaping, ensuring work aligns with contractual and quality expectations.
- Plan and supervise construction and renovation efforts, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment to minimize disruptions.
- Assist in preparing venues for exhibitions and special functions, ensuring all areas meet presentation standards.
- Demonstrate initiative in resolving issues and adaptability to non-standard working hours, including early mornings or evenings.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulatory requirements, and emergency protocols through regular inspections and planning.
- Monitor and manage facilities-related budgets, identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and operational improvement.
- Supervise cleaning services and inventory of supplies to maintain a clean and functional workplace environment.

This role is stationed in-office Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm.

- Includes an expectation to respond to building emergencies and essential needs that may arise before 9 AM or after 6 PM.
