Ciklum is looking for a Senior Dynamics Engineer to join a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and extending D365 Business Central solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop, customize, and extend D365 Business Central solutions using AL and extensions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical concepts
- Integrate D365BC with third-party systems using web services and APIs
- Contribute to full solution lifecycles from development and testing through to deployment and support
- Produce technical documentation and maintain coding standards
- Support upgrades, performance tuning, and system maintenance activities
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years experience developing with Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV (AL and C/AL)
- Strong understanding of D365BC architecture, extension model, and integration capabilities
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and AL development tools
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Experience working with Git, Docker, Powershell
- Experience using Telemetry for diagnosing problems and analyzing operations that affect performance
- Programming: AL, C/AL, C#, .NET, JavaScript, XML, JSON
- Databases: SQL Server, T-SQL, database performance tuning
- Tools: Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management Studio, Business Central Administration Center
- Integration: REST/SOAP APIs, OData, web services
- Reporting: Power BI, SSRS, Word layouts, Excel integration
- All things Postal workflow within Business Central and integration with Android Apps, BenchQ, myPostQ, and Royal Mail OBA
- Business Central AIMI, specific App ID MI reporting, and options for Client Services to self-manage report configuration
- Event integration with external workflow partner systems - OnePlatform and JCMS
- Integration of Business Central Operations with Business Central Finance
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
